The hosts, Mike and Susan Wilson, breathed new life into a decommissioned train cars, by establishing a unique “Bed&Breakfast” called The Aurora Express. All rooms here are decorated in the spirit of the different periods in the history of Alaska, overlooking the Tanana river, the mountain ranges of Alaska and city of Fairbanks.
Wigwam Motel (Holbrook, AZ)
In Wigwam Motel, perhaps not so luxurious, but cozy and comfortable. Motels this network, designed in the spirit of culture of aborigines of America, by themselves, have historical value, because Frank Redford started building them in 1930-ies. To date, only three of the Motel chains continue to welcome guests.
La Balade des Gnomes (Durbuy, Belgium)
